Update March 2026. Spring breedings are planned. We should have puppies available in 2026. Welcome to Schutzu Shih Tzu (CKC Registered). We are a small, preservation program centered on breeding, training, therapy and showing Shih Tzu's. Active in conformation and obedience and socialized family pets. Puppies and older dogs are available occasionally to loving, permanent homes. Please explore the other web pages to see pictures and other information. The pictures page shows current and former show dogs and other pictures of Shih Tzu's from our breeding program. The nursery page has pictures of our type of puppies as they grow. Please contact us at or at (905) 659-3922 and we can discuss one of them joining your family. Deposits ($500) to hold a puppy are required and are taken on a first come basis. Total cost for a registered pet, on a non-breeding contract, is $3000 which includes first vaccine, vet checked, CKC registration and microchip. We also provide a full puppy package which includes items needed for their new home along with socializing and care instructions.

And here they are at about 10 weeks. As healthy, happy, socialized puppies ready for their new loving families. Their parents are Canadian champions showing correct temperment, health and beauty. We train them to use a puppy pads inside. Depending on the weather, they will also start outside training.
